Tokyo Pie & Teriyaki Boyz

Guess who's back :).  Hi Everyone!

Thank you for all of the supportive and lovely e-mails!!!  If you've e-mailed me over the past few months, and I haven't responded yet my apologies.  Since relocating from Sendai, my life has been extremely busy with my new job trying to carve out a piece of what I like to call my Tokyo pie.

Hope you like the new look-- wanted to give it a more colorful, fun and happy feeling.  I've added a new feature to Sista in Tokyo which can be found in the top right column labeled-- Tokyo Twitter.  This shiny pink box contains text updates from me throughout the week.

It's taken a lot of time to update the Sista in Tokyo design and I am far from being finished.  But at the moment I am hungry and just finished downloading the latest episode of Grey's Anatomy.  So I must leave you to admiring the new look an wondering how long it will be until the next post.  (Not long, I promise).

I am sooooo glad that you are back. You've been on my bookmarks bar for well over a year now, and I love recommending your archives. For some reason, I decided to happen chance back and found new posts. When I was making the decision to study abroad in Tokyo last year, your blog was invaluable. It made me feel a lot more confident and comfortable about my decision. I'm headed for Tokyo in September and will be there for 10 months. Between now and then (and after, too) I can't wait to read your posts. You definitely have to be one of the most articulate, insightful and intelligent bloggers I have read. Welcome back ;)
