1. G and I were in Honolulu last week to take care of wedding plans. Our planner is wonderful (Mona!) but she managed to tire us out! Our schedule was packed full of meetings, site inspections, tastings, etc. We initially planned to stay from Tuesday 9/2 through Saturday 9/6, but after the packed schedule we needed a rest. So we extended our stay and left on Monday it was well worth it! Hawaii is a magical place for G and T.
2. One of the things I absolutely did not enjoy was shopping for a wedding gown. None of the dresses even remotely resembled what I was looking for. Is it too hard for boutiques to actually have a more than 3 sample dresses from designers that they tout on their websites? I'm thinking I will have to find a dress here in Japan. (The land of Cinderella ball gowns...)
3. I would like for my family and friends back home to visit me here in Tokyo some time. I know Tokyo is really far away but, today I was walking and I thought about how nice it would be to share my world and new home with my loves back home. Yeah, I'm homesick.
4. I purchased my little niece a T-Shirt with the words "Picture Me Strolling" on the front. I can't wait to see her in it! Whenever I think about it I laugh because her daddy (my brother) is a police officer and it reminds me of the song "Riding Dirty"...... Proud and Obsessed Auntie humor.
5. I haven't been to the gym and I feel like crap. I need a gym buddy.
6. I won a $150 dollar Amazon Gift Certificate for leaving my recommendations on how to improve the features of an online start-up-- Spellr.us. I have been filling up and emptying my Amazon shopping cart for the past two weeks. Funny how that works... Free money and I don't want to spend it. I have to set myself a deadline.
Ironic huh-- I know my spelling is atrocious on SiT... The longer I'm in Japan the worse it becomes. (sigh)
7. I can't find Room 806. A part of my black hair series, I wanted to take a picture of Room 806 in Roppongi. Thing is, I can't find.
8. Two weeks ago, I took a hot Yoga class and it was GREAT!!!! I like to sweat, I like the heat and this hot and humid Yoga was just right for me. I don't think I have ever sweat so much, EVER! Planning to make it a weekly thing-- even purchased some cute yoga pants while in Hawaii from LuluLemon (I think that's how it's spelled).
9. Great things are happening at work, I am blessed! And busy! Also, G and I are hosting a monopoly tournament over our place. We've invited two couples over, it's serious business!
10. I'm loving the IPhone! But, we have an brand new iPod Touch (never been opened, purchased in the US) we would like to sell. If you're interested, send me a mail.

You two look absolutely gorgeous together. I like reading that you hit the gym as often and possible and boy does it show. Very very nice.

I'll have to live vicariously through you. Hot yoga. Monopoly tournaments. Living abroad. Sigh. I'm determined to work outside the US for at least 3 years and I'm trying my darndest to make it happen. As I'm learning French, France and Switzerland are the obvious choices.
Until then, I have my daily 4 hr commute to plot my escape.
