Hey sweetie, how are you doing. Obviously not good. I hope you'r taking something for that flu or SARS like bug that you have. Just want you to know that I miss you and I can't wait to see you in December. Take care! Love You Always.

Hello there,
I would like to congratulate you on a very interesting site. I can see the purity you hold, within your words.
I am a black british male living in Japan. In my opinion "what you see is what you get". If one looks for negativity you will receive it and likewise if you look for the positive aspects that's what you will find.
I am looking forward to you future posts.
Take care

June

Takara,

Peace and a Hug

I lived in Misawa Japan over ten years ago, I was active duty Air Force but lived off Base. I was very interested in the local culture so I made many Nihongo friends, some I still have, write and visit. I was just going to read about your experiences and smile but you sound so much like me back then when you described what you like and why. It was very heartwarming and I'm glad I checked BTokyo and saw your post. I never studied the language like I initially intended(much too busy partying) to but I got by. Last time in Tokyo area was about 91 I bet it like everywhere has changed a lot. Best wishes on your adventure, I thought I would write a book like the savvy sistah's guide to international travel, you should you write very well. Shout out to all the ladies over there with you, much love!
Japan was good for Reggae and Jazz when I was there partied with Sugar Minott, etc. big fun.
Keep the faith, JUNA
